Hello Concrete Riders.
Sorry for no updates, but it has been a busy month for me.
I had a great 10 days in Japan at the end of May and start of June. It started with a weekend near Tokyo with a Saturday at TOF Wakeboard Service, and then with BEAR WakeBoard Service on Sunday. It was great meeting all of you, and I had a fantastic time. I hope to see you all again soon!!!

Monday night, I then traveled to Wakamaya to help set up the 1st Wakeseries Competition. Hard work, but a good time was had by all as Selection Time prepared for the competition. It was great seeing Japanese Riders I had meet in Thailand over the past 2 winters.

The competition was great, and I was lucky to win first place this time, but I think Toshiki, Shuntaro and Ryoji will be practicing and the competitions are only going to get better as the season progress.
Something new to me, I got to help out the JWBA and was a judge for the Amateur Men, Women and the technical judge for the big air competition. I hope to do this more and more this year. Congratulations to all of the riders, you all did great.
Tuesday I went back to Thailand for 1 week and then it was off to Singapore.

For the first time in Singapore a Rail Jam competition was held and I was invited to join. Set up on Orchard Road at a luxury shopping mall, it was pulled behind a winch and consisted of a Launch Pool (50 foot long x 30 foot wide) a Landing Pool (20 feet long x 40 feet wide) with a 30 foot table top bridging the gap. Wakeboarding, Rolex, Gucci, Lui Vuiton all shared the same space.

It may sound small, but the spectators and audience was huge right in the city center. In addition to wakeboarding, they also had a skate park, climbing, and FMX. I would love to show you some pictures, but a dog ate my memory card (Bad Sammy!!!)
**Editor Note, Bomb took first place with the only 1080 and only Invert (Nose Press to Tantrum) attempted and landed.

Sammy, digesting 512mb worth of pictures. Tasted like chicken.

After the Rail Jam, I was kidnapped by the Concrete team in Singapore, Maxout Hydro Sports. They hid me overnight on their wakeboard Yacht the Carpe Diem. They didn’t want to let me party the evening away as they had a Concrete Clinic the following day, which started with a photo shoot early in the morning. Singapore’s finest photographer, David Ngiam was there to capture the action on memory.

This is the first time I have taken pictures with someone in the tube. Lots of fun, but unfortunately the weather wasn’t that nice.

The weather cleared up in the afternoon and a great time was had by all. As we were running behind schedule, my final run would be after the sunset. The Maxout Crew put plenty of weight in the boat. 12 people to be exact! To bad we didn’t have any lights.

Sunday evening was finished off with a party before they put me in a cab and sent me back to Bangkok at 5:00am Monday morning. What a weekend.

The next couple of weeks I will be in Bangkok getting ready for the next leg of the Wakeboard Tour.
July 4th – 9th I will be in Hong Kong for the Billabong Asian Wakeboard Championships. The Concrete International Team will be the featured riders and coaches for a week leading up to the event. 1st place wins $30,000 HKD, and the best riders from Asia will definitely be there. The following week it’s back to Singapore for Reef Wakefet 2007. I’ll try to keep you updated.
**** Note to Concrete, Can I please go to Korea this summer??? It looked like Miku and Meme had so much fun!!!
